Fix the Warning in Vue-Router 3.1.3

To get started, look at the directory structure of the files on the left as follows:

Click on Go Live button in the bottom right corner of WebIDE, to run the project.

Next, open "Web 8080" on the top of the VM and refresh it manually, click "/nope/", then click "test" and open the Console option in the browser console, you will see the following message:

[vue-router] missing param for named route "NotFound": Expected "0" to be defined

In this step, you will learn how to fix the warning generated by the pathMatch issue in the vue-router 3.1.3 code.

1. Open the vue-router-3.1.3/src/util/params.js file.
2. Locate the code on line 28 that is causing the warning:

if (process.env.NODE_ENV !== "production") {
  warn(false, `missing param for ${routeMsg}: ${e.message}`);
}

3. Comment out the warn function call to remove the warning:

if (process.env.NODE_ENV !== "production") {
  // warn(false, `missing param for ${routeMsg}: ${e.message}`)

This will prevent the warning from being displayed in the console.

Rebuild and Test the Vue-Router 3.1.3 Project

In this step, you will rebuild and test the vue-router 3.1.3 project after fixing the warning.

1. Open a terminal and navigate to the vue-router-3.1.3 directory.
2. Run the command npm install to install the dependencies. This process might take a while, please be patient. (If it gets stuck for a long time, please press Ctrl+C to terminate the process and then run this command again.)
3. After all dependencies have been successfully installed, run the command npm run build to rebuild and release the project. This will generate a new build of the vue-router 3.1.3 library with the warning fix.
4. Open the Web 8080 page in your browser.
5. Click on the "/nope/" link, then click on the "test" link.
