RHCE in Enterprise Linux Prep (EX342) は、規律ある RHEL troubleshooting を身に付けるガイド付きコースです。28 個の lab を 6 段階で進み、evidence/method、boot/service/kernel/hardware、storage recovery、package integrity、network/application incident、authentication/advanced investigation を扱います。
140 個の検証付き step で、変更前の観察、documentation/log による原因絞り込み、controlled repair、final evidence の保存を行います。各 lab は 35～50 分、記載された合計練習時間は 1,235 分です。
学習内容
- baseline、log/metric、persistent logging、focused support bundle の作成
- service dependency、recovery target、bootloader、hardware signal、kernel module、persistent parameter の診断
- test filesystem、LVM、encrypted volume、UUID mount、iSCSI login、capacity exhaustion の修復
- repository、dependency、RPM database、package-file integrity、failed update の問題解決
- NetworkManager、DNS、routing、traffic、firewall、library、SELinux denial、Podman の修復
- PAM、identity lookup、process memory、application runtime の診断
- kdump readiness の確認と crash を起こさない minimal bounded SystemTap probe
このコースの対象者
このコースは、評価形式 incident 前に複雑な troubleshooting をガイド付きで練習したい RHEL 管理者、Linux support engineer、EX342 志向の学習者向けです。個別 lab は丁寧ですが、全体として確立した Linux administration skill を前提とします。
前提知識： systemd、file/permission、user、package、network、storage、shell tool、SELinux、基本 Podman を含む RHCSA レベルの RHEL administration。troubleshooting 経験を推奨し、advanced crash/SystemTap 経験は不要です。
学習環境： 各 lab は controlled local fault と必要な service、repository、disk image、storage target、network、user、log、diagnostic tool を備える独立 RHEL 10 browser VM で開きます。危険になり得る操作は training asset と bounded workflow を使います。

Enterprise Linux 模擬試験とは何が違いますか？
本コースは explained command と checkpoint で observation、diagnosis、repair、evidence collection を教えます。模擬試験は少ない支援で independent incident と final-state criteria を提示します。
advanced troubleshooting experience は必要ですか？
advanced tool の経験は不要ですが、solid RHCSA-level administration は必要です。lab は workflow を説明し、修復対象の Linux component は理解している前提です。
boot、filesystem、kdump lab は VM を crash/reboot しますか？
いいえ。boot は controlled state、filesystem は test image、kdump は reservation/service/training path の確認のみで、kernel crash は起こしません。
storage、network、container incident は external system を使いますか？
いいえ。iSCSI target、encrypted volume、route、service、Podman asset は各 lab 内にあります。production host、external storage、cloud は使いません。
