最初の cluster check から workload、network、configuration、storage、scheduling、access control、resource management まで Kubernetes を広く学びます。5 stage、43 activity で構成され、guided lab 38 個と challenge 5 個を含みます。
多くは local Minikube で行う command-oriented walkthrough です。cluster と kubectl の基礎から controllers、Ingress、persistent storage、scheduling rule、autoscaling、RBAC、metrics へ進みます。1 つの application project ではなく幅広い survey course です。
学習内容
このコースを修了すると、次のことができるようになります。
- cluster health、client/server 情報、node detail、architecture、Kubernetes Dashboard access を調べる。
kubectl create、run、describe、logs、exec、set、annotate、port-forwardで resource を操作する。- Pod と replicated、batch、scheduled、per-node、stateful workload を controller で管理する。
- Service と Ingress で workload を接続し、namespace で整理する。
- ConfigMap と Secret で設定を注入し、PersistentVolume と claim で data を保持する。
- ResourceQuota と LimitRange を適用し、kubeconfig の cluster、user、context を扱う。
- node selector、affinity、taint、toleration、cordon、container probe で placement と availability を制御する。
- HorizontalPodAutoscaler と RBAC を設定し、Metrics Server で CPU/memory usage を確認する。
このコースの対象者
多数の Kubernetes command と resource type に触れたい初心者、container user、実践的な reference base を作りたい junior DevOps learner 向けです。guided lab は基礎から始まりますが、後半と 5 challenge はより自立した作業を求め、Dashboard security challenge は Advanced です。
前提知識： Kubernetes 経験は不要です。Linux terminal、container、基本 YAML の知識を推奨します。storage、scheduling、autoscaling、RBAC の前に cluster、command、workload stage を進めると理解しやすくなります。
学習環境： Ubuntu 22.04 GUI VM、terminal、local single-node Minikube、kubectl、Dashboard 用 browser を使用します。activity ごとに環境は独立し、cluster state は次の lab に引き継がれません。

「初心者向け Kubernetes」との違いは？
本コースは 43 activity で commands、controllers、Ingress、storage、scheduling、HPA、RBAC、Dashboard、metrics を扱う広い survey です。「初心者向け Kubernetes」は pinned v1.35.5 cluster で stateless application operation に集中する 12 activity の paired course です。
すべて Beginner activity ですか？
いいえ。course と 38 guided labs は Beginner ですが、4 challenge は Intermediate、read-only Dashboard access challenge は Advanced です。関連 guided content 後の checkpoint として取り組んでください。
Internet や paid account は必要ですか？
activity により異なります。一部は Minikube 起動、addon 有効化、image pull を行い、最初の lab は image-pull path を Pro-only、Free では cluster が事前起動される場合があると明記しています。各 access note を確認してください。
production または multi-node cluster を構築しますか？
いいえ。local single-node Minikube で機能を学びます。production HA、managed cloud Kubernetes、multi-node capacity planning、persistent production platform は対象外です。
