Ranking Each Player’s Best Score is a practical Redis project about fair, reusable competition results. Keep the best attempt for each stable player ID, then publish everyone who meets the actual qualifying score.
One Guided Lab has three steps: record high-score bests, include all cutoff ties, and complete a lower-is-better timed trial. One independent Challenge transfers those methods to a new trial. Each unit has its own prepared synthetic data.

Does this handle a live changing qualification board?
Best-attempt updates are atomic. Qualification runs after submissions close; its two reads do not guarantee a snapshot during ongoing updates. The timed trial uses positive integer seconds, without fractional timing, appeals or persistence/failover work.
Does the desk repair a wrong function?
No. It executes your saved method and displays actual Redis results and roster names. Missing ties, wrong bests and query errors remain visible. The Challenge uses mechanisms fully practiced in the Guided Lab.
