Learning environment: All 31 activities run in a provided Ubuntu 22.04 terminal with a local MongoDB server. You work primarily in mongosh; import and export labs also use mongoimport and mongoexport.

Do I need a MongoDB Atlas account or an external database?
No. The labs connect mongosh to the MongoDB server supplied in the course environment, so the exercises do not depend on a personal Atlas account.
Does the course teach MongoDB from an application language such as Node.js or Python?
No. It teaches database operations and modeling through mongosh and MongoDB command-line utilities. Driver APIs, web frameworks, authentication, replication, and sharding are outside its scope.
How much independent practice is included?
