Build and Operate a Web Application with AWS

Deploy a private order application, repair a failed release and restore database and report data in three independent AWS challenges.

AWS

Introduction

Connect an ALB entry, private EC2 application, RDS database and limited IAM permissions. Prove actual order writes and reads, repair a failed release, then rebuild network resources and recover original database and EBS report data.

What you will practice

Private deployment and encrypted configuration; diagnosis with target health and safe logs; snapshot recovery and cleanup that preserves unrelated resources.

Prerequisites and environment

Complete the relevant S3, IAM, VPC, EC2/EBS, Load Balancing, RDS, Monitoring and Application Security labs first; complete CloudFormation before the recovery challenge. The three challenges start independently in provided browser-based Linux VMs. Use Terminal and AWS View; no personal AWS account or previous VM resources are needed. Code and fixtures are supplied, and complete solutions explain the operations.

Certification practice

Apply selected CLF-C02, SAA-C03 and DVA-C02 capabilities listed in each challenge. This supplements study of the current exam guide; it does not cover an entire exam or measure production RTO/RPO or multi-Region disaster recovery.
