Before creating the three partitions, how should you identify the additional empty disk?
Use the disk that contains the mounted root filesystem.
Choose whichever filesystem currently has the most free space.
Always use /dev/nvme1n1 without checking the VM.
/dev/nvme1n1
Inspect block devices with lsblk and select the non-root disk.
