Use The Backup Center Feature Of ACK To Back Up A Kubernetes Cluster
In this experiment, Alibaba Cloud Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) is used. This experiment describes how to use the backup center of ACK to back up and restore Kubernetes resources. The backup center feature of Container Service for Kubernetes (ACK) provides an all-in-one solution for you to back up, restore, and migrate both stateless and stateful applications deployed in ACK clusters. This solution meets the data redundancy and migration needs of stateful applications deployed across multiple clusters and in a hybrid cloud environment. For example, you can use this feature to back up metadata of applications in an ACK cluster, restore snapshots of applications and data, and migrate applications and data. This feature allows you to use CustomResourceDefinitions (CRDs) capabilities, such as container orchestration and application management, to achieve backup of crash consistency for stateful applications, backup of application consistency for stateful applications, and backup and restoration of stateful applications across zones and regions.
