Implement Auto Scaling In Kubernetes By Using HPA Custom Metrics
This experiment mainly uses Alibaba Cloud Container Service for demonstration. This experiment introduces the component that is most commonly used for auto scaling in Kubernetes, namely HPA (Horizontal Pod Autoscaler). HPA is a component that performs capacity planning by calculating the actual workload of pods. When the resource pool meets the specified conditions, HPA implements auto scaling. This experiment demonstrates how to use HPA to implement the auto scaling of pods based on the number of requests per second to the pods on the backend.
